Preceding Sorace’s speech, officials from her administration will be on hand during a reception from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Ware Center foyer to show off their work and discuss city issues.

Last year’s State of the City address took place immediately after Sorace was sworn in for her second term.

She reviewed City Hall’s response to the coronavirus pandemic and outlined her administration’s updated strategic plan.

It focuses on four priorities, listed on the Lancaster Block by Block dashboard: Strong neighborhoods, safe places, sustainable economy and sound government.
