Lancaster County's two state senators will host an online town hall this evening on the community's Covid-19 vaccination plan.

Sens. Ryan Aument's and Scott Martin's event begins at 5:30 p.m. You can participate through either senator's "Access Live" page ( Aument | Martin ) or through their Facebook pages ( Aument | Martin ). To participate by phone, sign up on either senator's Access Live page.

They will be joined by Dr. Michael Ripchinski, chief clinical officer for Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health; county Commissioner Ray D'Agostino; and Joan Bradbury, executive director of the state Senate Health & Human Services Committee

A main topic is expected to be the county's mass vaccination center, which is set to open on a limited basis next week.

Questions remain as to how soon it will be able to ramp up to its target level of 6,000 shots per day, given the state's limited vaccine supplies.

Aument is a member of the state's joint task force on Covid-19 vaccination.
