Senior centers extend hours during heat wave

The National Weather Service has issued a dangerous heat advisory in central Pennsylvania for today, Tuesday, June 29.

Accordingly, the Lancaster County Office of Aging is extending hours of operation at county Senior Community Centers on Tuesday and Wednesday. Hours will be as follows:

Columbia Senior Center, Columbia United Methodist Church, 510 Walnut St.,
Columbia, 7:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. (Ph: 717-684-4850)

Elizabethtown Area Senior Center, 70 South Poplar St., Elizabethtown
8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Ph: 717-367-7984)

Lancaster Rec Senior Center, 525 Fairview Ave., Lancaster
