Nonprofits working to improve women's education are invited to apply for grant funding from Women United of Lancaster County.
Women United has $60,000 available, which can be awarded as two grants of up to $30,000 or three grants of $20,000.
The application deadline is 12 noon Friday, May 14. Grants will cover the period from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.
Applications will be evaluated based on community need, prospects for program effectiveness, collaboration and other factors. Full details, application materials and contact information are available on the United Way website.
Women United is an affiliate organization of the United Way of Lancaster County.
For 2020-21, Women United focused on women's health, awarding grants to Girls on the Run, Lancaster Health Center (now part of Union Community Health) and Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health.
