Tenfold to offer virtual landlord forum Sept. 9

Tenfold web

Tenfold, the housing and financial security nonprofit, will host a virtual forum for landlords from 10 to 11 a.m. Sept. 9.

The free Zoom event will cover "legal updates, Lancaster ERAP program updates, mediation services and emergency housing vouchers," Tenfold said.

The webinar is the latest in a series Tenfold has been offering on rental issues. Some are targeted to property owners and managers, others to renters.

Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court ended the nationwide eviction moratorium that protected households financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic from losing their lodging.

Local officials expect evictions to rise, and are stepping up efforts to enroll eligible applicants in Lancaster County's Emergency Rental Assistance Program, which can pay a year or more of rent and utility expenses.
