United Way of Lancaster County and its Women United affinity group have announced the recipients of the 2025 Women United grants.

"Women United is a community of women committed to creating meaningful change through the power of collective philanthropy. We are proud to support initiatives that uplift and empower women throughout Lancaster County," said Kristy Gismot, vice president of resource development at United Way of Lancaster County.

These grants support nonprofit organizations that are leading efforts to improve and empower financial stability outcomes and opportunities for women in Lancaster County.

Recipient organizations were chosen Tuesday by the voting members of Women United at the S. Dale Leadership Center, following 10-minute presentations from applicants on how their program supports financial stability for Lancaster County women.

The 2025 Women United grant recipients are:

The organizations will receive funding to support their work during the 2025–2026 grant cycle, which runs from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.

This year, our grants are specifically focused on advancing financial stability—helping women build stronger economic foundations through access to resources such as job training, financial education, and support services. By investing in these areas, we aim to break cycles of poverty and promote long-term self-sufficiency for women and their families." Said Gismot.
