United Way of Lancaster County announced that they are opening applications for a new round of Level Up & Launch grants. Level Up & Launch provides nonprofits with grant funding to level up existing programs or launch new ones.

In addition, selected applicants can use their awarded grant in other ways. Maddie Seiler, vice president of marketing and communications for United Way of Lancaster County, explained “They can leverage those dollars for other grants or for fundraising that will be matched dollar for dollar up to their initial grant amount during the grant cycle.”

Selected applicants can use grant funding for daily operations or other initiatives such as those dedicated to economic mobility, education and health that prioritizes innovation, scalability and sustainable potential.

Last year’s Level Up & Launch grant was awarded to 11 different nonprofits including Arch Street Center, ASSETS, Bright Side Opportunities Center, CASA of Lancaster and Lebanon, The Common Wheel, Ephrata Area Social Services, Lancaster County Food Hub, Homefields, Lancaster EMS, Parish Resource Center and Pennsylvania Furniture Mission.

Grant applications are open now through March 28 at 5p.m. Grant funding ranges from $10,000 to $50,000. Applications can be found by visiting the Level Up and Launch Website.
