Summer programs invited to apply for Summer Youth Experience grants

United Way of Lancaster County and Rotary Club of Lancaster are accepting applications for their 18th annual Summer Youth Experience grants.

This year, $60,000 is being made available, up from $40,000 in 2022 and $20,000 through 2021. Grants of $2,000 to $5,000 will be awarded.

To be eligible, organizations must serve children up to age 16 with learning enrichment programs that emphasize project-based learning and social-emotional development, including but not limited to STEAM curricula: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math.

Grant applications will be accepted through Friday, April 12. For details and to apply, click here. Awardees will be notified by May 18.

Funded jointly by United Way and the Rotary Club, the Summer Youth Experience grant initiative has supported local youth summer programs since 2006.
