Second annual FaithfulGive starts Sunday

Nearly 100 organizations have signed up to take part in the second annual FaithfulGive, a giving event geared toward conservative Christians.

The 2024 FaithfulGive will run from Sunday, Oct. 20, through Tuesday, Oct. 22, with donations made online. Supplementing individual donations will be $25,000 in cash prizes for organizations that hit certain benchmarks and an $80,000 shared fund that will be distributed proportionally based on what individual entities raise during the event.

Anchoring the final day will be the Blessings of Hope Giving Expo, running from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, at the Windham Lancaster Resort & Convention Center, 2300 Lincoln Highway East.

The day before, there will be a prayer breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike.

The FaithfulGive tagline is “Connecting Generous Givers with Kingdom Causes.” Participating organizations “are mission-aligned with our Christian values,” the website says, providing a list of core beliefs and a link to a full doctrinal statement.

“FaithfulGive recognizes that people of good faith and character hold different views, but we are committed to upholding our beliefs and values,” it says.

In 2023, its first year, FaithfulGive raised just under $760,000.
