• Lancaster County prepares for special election in 36th Senate District: The Lancaster County Board of Elections will soon begin holding meetings, but Commissioner Josh Parsons will not be in attendance, as he resigned from his seat because he was selected by the Republican committee to be a candidate for the 36th Senate District seat. • Advocacy groups accept the resignation of Central Dauphin teacher: The Philadelphia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the Harrisburg Palestine Coalition and the student’s family called for an investigation into allegations of a Central Dauphin teacher calling a student a racial slur.
