Today is the deadline to sign up at Pennie, Pennsylvania's health insurance marketplace, for coverage beginning Jan. 1.
Pennsylvania's open enrollment period continues after today, through Jan. 15, but customers enrolling after today will have coverage beginning Feb. 1.
Pennie has nearly 344,000 customers. Roughly nine out of 10 of them qualify for subsidies to offset premium and out-of-pocket costs, support that has been enhanced through the American Rescue Plan Act.
Pennie's customer service hotline, 1-844-844-8440 is open until 10 p.m. today. Normal hours are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
