PA Office of Unemployment

Pennsylvanians are invited to ask questions about job searches and unemployment compensation to an expert from the state Department of Labor & Industry during a virtual town hall from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22.

To participate, visit https://access.live/PAlabor. Individuals can also call 1-833-380-0719; however, phone lines are limited, so online access is recommended.

Individuals livestreaming the town hall can submit typed questions that will be read to the Labor & Industry representative by a moderator. Participants using the phone can ask questions directly.

To protect participants’ confidential personal information, detailed answers about individual claims cannot be provided.

This is the department's 22nd town hall. The department says it has paid more than $29.5 billion in unemployment benefits since March 15, and has resolved 97% of regular unemployment compensation claims through Sept. 12.
