Employers in Lancaster County are struggling to find qualified employees for open positions while under- or unemployed individuals are facing barriers to obtaining living-wage work.
Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Lancaster County's year-long LIFT Jobs program officially launched in February with a cohort of single moms!
The goal is to walk with these moms on a path to living wage employment while eliminating barriers, expanding social capital and encouraging personal and professional growth.
While COVID-19 has created unforeseen challenges, these resilient and dedicated women are receiving supportive professional development with CAP’s Navigation team while holding jobs with our employment partner Four Seasons Produce.
