The nonprofit RegenAll is partnering with Millersville University this month to host the second annual Lancaster County Climate Summit.
Taking place the week of Earth Day (Monday, April 22), the summit will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster. The theme is “Today’s Solutions for a Brighter, More Resilient Future.”
The event is free and open to the public. There will be morning and afternoon breakout sessions featuring local activists, researchers and government officials; a trade show and student poster display and a concluding social hour. A detailed schedule is available on the event page on RegenAll’s website.
The day will open and close with plenary sessions led by Eric Sauder, RegenAll’s founder and chief operating officer; and Nadine Garner, who heads Millersville University’s sustainability committee and advises its student Sustainability Club.
The first local climate summit, put on by RegenAll in April 2023, featured sessions at six venues citywide. For One United Lancaster’s coverage, click here.
