Local nonprofit Patients R Waiting is launching its second annual Health Equity Music Festival and health clinic series this Friday at Crispus Attacks Community Center, with a show featuring North Philadelphia recording artist Jon Bolds.
Offered in partnership with Union Community Care, the festival offers spoken-word and musical entertainment. In conjunction with the show, medical staff are on hand to offer free Covid-19 and flu vaccinations.
Information will be available on medical and social services, including Lancaster’s lead remediation program.
Things get under way at 6 p.m. each Friday through Feb. 23. The scheduled performers are as follows:
