October ‘Conversation About OUR Community’ to discuss voter registration, upcoming election

United Way of Lancaster County invites the community to hear about voter registration and the importance of this year’s election in its October “Conversation About OUR Community.”

The free Zoom forum is titled “Voting in Contentious Times.” It takes place from 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Oct. 19.

The deadline to register to vote in November’s general election is the following Monday, Oct. 24.

It will feature a discussion with the following panelists:

  • Isabel Castillo: Assistant director, YWCA Lancaster’s Center for Racial and Gender Equality
  • Amy Fasano: Lancaster League of Women Voters
  • Melissa Glizzi: Co-chair, Lancaster County Braver Angels Alliance

Castillo will begin with a presentation on voting data. Kevin Ressler, President & CEO of United Way of Lancaster County, will moderate the conversation.
