The fourth edition of the Lititz Pride Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday, June 29, at Lititz Springs Park.

“We invite the community to attend this free, family-friendly festival and celebrate the joy, diversity, and progress of the LGBTQ+ community,” said Minnie Nguyen, spokesperson for the event organizer, the nonprofit Lititz Chooses Love.

Attractions include live performances, food and beverages, vendors and a broad range of community organizations. Admission is free.

Last year’s attendance was around 3,000, and Lititz Chooses Love is hoping this year could be double that.

Organizers are continuing to recruit volunteers to help out at the festival, even for just an hour. To sign up, click here.

As was done last year, volunteers from the Silent Witness Peacekeepers Alliance will be on hand in case they are needed. Peacekeepers work to keep protesters from disrupting events by interposing themselves and de-escalating potential confrontations.
