The training will be repeated in September at The Factory Ministries, 3293 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise. The youth-focused session will take place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9; the adult session from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26.
Mental Health First Aid training was developed by the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, a nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. LGH is offering the sessions in partnership with Community Services Group, using grant funding from the federal Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration, or SAMHSA.
