Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health has announced a dozen blood drives around Lancaster County over the month of June.
Blood supplies are persistently low and LG Health encourages everyone who can to donate blood and platelets.
To encourage donations, the health system is continuing a special promotion begun last month: All individuals presenting to donate will receive vouchers for two Lancaster Stormers tickets and a blood donor baseball hat.
Blood drive donors are encouraged to register beforehand, either online or by phone at (717) 544-0170. They may also schedule an appointment to donate at LG Health’s Blood Donor Center.
Blood collected in Lancaster County stays here and is used by local health care providers.
