The Latin American Alliance’s 2022 Latin American Festival is set for this Saturday, Sept. 17, at New Holland Community Memorial Park, 400 E. Jackson St., New Holland.

It kicks off at 12 noon with an opening ceremony, featuring a procession of Latin American flags. Events continue through 9 p.m., concluding with headline act Grupo Mania, a Puerto Rican merengue band. For a full schedule, visit the alliance’s website.

Admission and children’s activities are free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

The festival celebrates the diversity of Latin American culture and presents to the community at large “a panorama of our rich heritage and traditions through music, dance and food,” the alliance says.
