Local nonprofit leaders Tom Baldrige and Marlyn Barbosa will join the three previously announced panelists for United Way of Lancaster County's upcoming "Conversation About OUR Community" on work force issues.
Baldrige is the president of the Lancaster Chamber, a position he has held since 2000. Earlier this month, he announced his planned retirement next June.
Barbosa is the director of Tec Centro, a bilingual career and technical center founded by the Spanish American Civic Association.
The three previously announced panelists are:
- Scott Fiore, President, TriStarr
- Brian Lois, Senior Director, Human Resources Operations, High Co.
- Damaris Rau, Superintendent, School District of Lancaster

The event will kick off with Valerie Hatfield, Director of Compliance and Business Engagement for the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board, who will present data on the state of Lancaster County employment.
Panelists will then discuss the effects of the pandemic on unemployment and hiring practices within Lancaster County. They will cover all facets of employment, from hiring to childcare.
