Crispus Attucks Community Center rounded out its Black History Month celebrations on Saturday with its annual Black History Month Fashion Show, featuring community members wearing locally crafted designs.
One of the goals was to celebrate and draw attention to Black creativity in an industry where designers of colors are often under-represented.
The event included outfits from Taylord Rose Dezignz, Kasanova Frankenstein Luv Monster, Mmichelle Murry aka MIMI, Pluto Mas, Laure'alle Collins / Gifted by laure'alle, Covered Cookies, Arthur Parker of PQF and L'un D'un Paris.
