Lancaster County is inviting the public to a ceremony Friday, Sept. 10, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

The event begins at 11 a.m. at the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center, 101 Champ Boulevard, Manheim.

Lancaster County resident Greg Noll, who was part of Pennsylvania Task Force 1, which conducted search and rescue efforts at the collapsed World Trade Center site in New York City, will be the guest speaker.

In addition, the county commissioners will recognize the 52 Lancaster County first responders who have died in the line of duty.

The event will take place indoors at the center, followed by a wreath-laying outside.
