Jihan Owens-Tyler
Jihan Owens-Tyler is a psychotherapist and staff counselor at Elizabethtown College. She has been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, prolonged exposure CBT, structural family therapy, emotion focused family therapy, trauma-informed care and psychoanalytic therapies. Jihan’s passion and mission has always been to support and uplift people of color and marginalized individuals. The underrepresentation of BIPOC clinicians has made this work imperative to her and for her community.
