Lancaster County Community Foundation announced on Tuesday that applications for its, “Lancaster Thrives Together,” grants have opened. The grants are a $375,000 grant opportunity for community organizations that serve Lancaster County residents.
These grants are designed to support “upstream solutions” that address the root causes of poverty and the diverse needs of the various communities throughout Lancaster County. The grants will be used to support services that help individuals and families achieve economic stability.
“We have seen it ourselves, and heard from our neighbors throughout the county, that many in our community are being affected by economic hardship,” said Lancaster County Community Foundation’s Program Director, Dave Koser. “Shifting more of our impact budget in 2025 to support innovative, upstream ideas can be part of solutions that help individuals and families achieve economic stability, and we look forward to partnering with local organizations to create impact.”
The grants ranging from $10,000 – $50,000 will be awarded to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations. Applications are due July 18, and recipients will be announced in the fall. The grants and other opportunities can be found on the Lancaster County Community Foundation grant website.
