Lancaster water bureau lifts conservation notice

Lancaster city’s Bureau of Water has lifted its water conservation notice.

Repairs are complete at the bureau’s Susquehanna Treatment Plant and it is back up to capacity, the city said in an announcement Tuesday afternoon. All city water customers can resume normal usage, it said.

On Monday night, the bureau had said the plant’s water treatment volume was being limited by “an internal electrical issue,” and asked residents to conserve water until it could be fixed.
