San Juan Bautista Hispanic Festival will take place July 26-29

San Juan Bautista Catholic Church’s annual Hispanic Cultural festival will take place next week, running from Wednesday, July 26, through Saturday, July 29, in the church parking lot at 425 S. Duke St., Lancaster.

The event debuted in 1983, making this year the 40th edition. It was held virtually during the pandemic.

Admission to the festival is free. It features food, arts and craft displays, traditional costumes and Latino music and dance performances. Raffle tickets will be for sale, with $15,000 in prizes, including a top prize of $5,000. Winners will be announced at the close of the festival on Saturday.

The four-day extravaganza takes place is the church’s No. 1 fundraiser, bringing in tens of thousands of dollars.

Festival hours are as follows:

  • Wednesday & Thursday: 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Friday: 6 to 11 p.m.
  • Saturday: 4 to 11 p.m.
