Leadership Lancaster has scheduled the 2025 Core Class Community Action Team (CAT) group presentations for April 25 from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Lancaster Bible College at Liberty Place, 313 W Liberty St, Lancaster, PA 17603.

The Core Class is a nine-month program with 12 sessions and 140 hours of content. The 60-person cohort focuses on personal development, understanding community systems and experimental learning.

“These projects don’t just build leadership skills, they strengthen the fabric of our community,” said Executive Director of Leadership Lancaster, Jennifer Diaz. “Nonprofits receive fresh perspective and strategic support, while our Core Class participants gain hands-on experience in civic leadership. The ripple effects of these collaborations are felt long after the presentations are over. They help nonprofits do more, reach further, and deepen their impact.”

The 2025 Core Class has collaborated with nine local nonprofits to address challenges and develop solutions to support the organizations’ missions. The class’s presentations will showcase the participants’ dedication, impact and creativity towards solving these challenges.

Additionally, Leadership Lancaster will be launching a Request for Proposals (RFP) for nonprofits interested in working on CAT group projects for the upcoming 2025-2026 Core Class beginning this fall.

The group presentations are open to the community, nonprofits and leaders interested in gaining insight to Lancaster’s nonprofit community and to connect with local leaders. Attendance is free, but those who plan to attend the event must register. More information and registration can be found at the Leadership Lancaster Website.
