• Doug Mastriano wins GOP gubernatorial nomination: The far-right state senator is a staunch Trump ally 2020 election denier who ran an unconventional campaign to prevail in a crowded field. He will face Democratic nominee Attorney General Josh Shapiro in November. (Source: NBC News)

• Fetterman wins; Oz, McCormick deadlocked: Dr. Mehmet Oz, Donald Trump's endorsed candidate for Pennsylvania's open U.S. Senate seat, was ahead of hedge fund CEO David McCormick by just 3,000 votes in the Republican primary early Wednesday, setting up a likely recount. Incumbent state Rep. Mike Sturla appeared on track to defeat Dana Hamp Gulick in the 96th District, setting up a race against the GOP's nominee, April Weaver.
