• Two Pennsylvania lawmakers proposed a bill to remove sex from birth certificates: Democratic state representatives Benjamin Sanchez and Joe Webster proposed a bill that would remove sex from birth certificates, because there are  bureaucratic roadblocks. The legislation plans on removing the roadblocks by getting rid of the category as a whole. ( Source: ABC 27 )

• Penn State faculty fear the school will close campuses: Penn State leaders won’t give concise answers about whether they’re planning on closing some of the university’s commonwealth campuses. The shutdowns would effect hundreds, if not thousands, of Pennsylvanians. The move would also be a big action by the schools administration, to reduce a budget deficit and restructure operations. • Duncannon Borough in Perry County ask residents to conserve water: The borough’s water storage levels have dropped. Due to the drop Duncannon county residents have been asked to conserve water. ( Source: WGAL )
