United Way of Lancaster County and Meals on Wheels of Lancaster have announced the nonprofits to be featured in their next three “Lunch & Learn” sessions.
On Friday, May 19, the series will feature the Occupational Development Center, which provides vocational training and employment for adults with developmental disabilities.
May’s lunch menu is Greek, offering seasoned pork sandwiches, briam (roasted vegetables) and rizogalo (rice pudding). The registration deadline is Friday, May 12: For full information and to register, click here.
The Lunch & Learn sessions for June and July are as follows:
- Friday, June 16: COBYS Family Services. Menu: Italian. (Click here to register)
- Friday, July 12: Central Pa. Food Bank. Menu: American. (Click here to register)
Each Lunch & Learn session runs from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The cost is $20, with proceeds split evenly among United Way, Meals on Wheels and the featured nonprofit.
