Senior Centers extend hours due to heat wave

(Source: CDC.gov)

With temperatures expecting to crest in the 90s every day for the next few days, Lancaster County’s Office of Aging is extending hours this week at several of the county’s Senior Centers.

On days not listed below, the centers are operating on their normal schedule, as are the senior centers that are not listed.

For more information, call the Lancaster County Office of Aging at (717) 299-7979 or email aging@lancastercountypa.gov.

The county encourages all residents to use air-conditioned buildings such as libraries, community centers and malls on hot days to minimize the risk of adverse health effects.
