The Lancaster Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders group will host its second annual Lunar New Year Celebration in Ewell Plaza this Sunday, Feb. 18, marking the Year of the Dragon.
Running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., it will include music, dance, food, crafts and a scavenger hunt. Featured performances include the Korean Drum Group and a traditional Lion Dance.
The celebration will take place “rain, snow or shine,” organizers said, promising “a multi-cultural extravaganza filled with joy, tradition and community spirit!”
Hundreds of people enjoyed the group’s first Lunar New Year celebration in 2023, believed to be the first of its kind in Lancaster.
