The Lancaster Public Library has announced that it will be closed for four to six weeks beginning in mid-April while it moves to its new building at Ewell Plaza in the 100 block of North Queen Street.
The final day of business at the current library building at 125 N. Duke St. will be Wednesday, April 19.
The library has posted an FAQ about the move on its website. It notes that its digital resources will remain available during the move, and that items borrowed after April 5 will not be due during the closure.
The library anticipates opening its doors at Ewell Plaza toward the end of May.
