June ‘Conversation About OUR Community’ to examine LGBTQ+ issues

United Way of Lancaster County will host an online discussion this month on “Lancaster’s LGBTQ+ Reality & Resilience.

The free event is part of the United Way’s “Conversations About OUR Community” series and takes place on Zoom from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 28. To register, click here.

Confirmed panelists are:

  • Micki Dawson, (he/him), assistant production manager, Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center; Lancaster Pride
  • Rev. Liz Fulmer, (she/her), associate pastor, Grandview Church
  • Joe Landis, (he/his), housing specialist, Immigration & Refugee Program, Church World Service Lancaster
  • Brian Nguyen, (he/they), communications manager, CAP Lancaster; Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition

Topics will include Pride Month, Lancaster County’s LGBTQ+ landscape, coming out and more. The forum will be moderated by Kevin Ressler (he/him), president and CEO of United Way of Lancaster County.
