Local models and designers celebrated Black creativity on Saturday evening at the Black History Month fashion show.
Crispus Attucks Community Center sponsored the event, held at Reynolds Middle School.
"Throughout history, Black fashion pioneers and African-American designers used their talent to make a name for themselves in a highly competitive Eurocentric and predominantly white industry," the event organizers said. "Today, Black creators continue to influence global fashion and raise awareness about BIPOC opportunities in the industry."
